WTF's wrong with having a fishbowl full of condoms?

Seems like a damned wise thing to do.

Kids are going to do it anyway, far better they do it safely.

Last thing we need as a nation is another generation of potential USF students.

Good for them and the AAC

GOL is killin' it.

Have GOL's "RuRu Tribe" discoveries gone down in Anthropological circles as well as his having lettered for three years at New Hampshire and that Masters degree from "NYU-Stony Brook?"

Well, there you go. Higher standardized test scores from high school. I've been burned. If only I could find some sort of national organization that ranks colleges on their academics. That would be super helpful if one of those thought USF was better.

Sorry to say but you got burned. You got trolled and you lost. You well for the old my school is better than you BS with good ole UCiF. Next time just teach him a lesson in math as I dont think they teach that over there. Tell them that 4 is greater than 2. Which means that USF has 4 wins head to head with UCF compared to their 2 wins against USF. Heck, you may want to through in the 64-12 number as the cherry on top but I think that number is so big that it would blow his mind.

You're aware the argument is academics, right? Saying we beat them in football a decade ago doesn't do a whole lot to prove the point that we are a better academic school. Just like him telling me that the average student did 6% better on a standardized test when they were 16 doesn't do much either. I think Dogma ended the argument pretty nicely, though I'm still waiting on the UCF link to their admission requirements. As someone who teaches college students, I'm intrigued by this "admissions requirement" at UCF that I didn't know existed.

Thanks,

I'm also still waiting for it was well.

And he didn't have a problem replying to a couple of another posts.

So... as I stated, it should end any attempt of academic smack talk

Like I said, keep it to football. No one is arguing that UCF hasn't had more football success than USF has recently. It's really not much of an argument, though if they want to keep repeating the same rhetoric from the past 4 years, whatever. I can admit they've earned it, but I don't have to like it. Academics? Please.

UCF on the same level academically? They're a degree mill.

There's a reason we have more grad students (despite being smaller) and 3x the endowment / research expenditures (... despite being smaller). Get your head out your ass if you think UCF is on a level playing field with us academically. They compare more favorably to FAU and FIU.

16 year old's SAT scores may be negligibly better for UCF, however the research money institutions POUR into USF isn't even close. What's more indicative of academic success?

FWIW - I wish we'd act more like a degree mill, at least for student athlete admissions. Prematurely acting like we were Stanford is half the reason both of our main revenue programs are in the state they're in.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”

    Michael Kelly
