Got to give him time to get his players in.

Absent some newbie going crazy with the batting statistics in the AAC, I'm just not seeing where we'll get that this season. The pitching staff is supposed to be solid, and I hope Kingston is able to rectify some of the defensive lapses we seemed to fall into last season. I think we're likely a few seasons away from being able to consider ourselves in the top-3 of the AAC. We finished in 5th place last year and 2 of the teams ahead of us are gone. I'll be disappointed if we're not in the top 3 this year. I hope you're right.

Is this a serious question? Softball continues to be light years ahead of baseball at USF. Really, this is most puzzling to me. I watched many a baseball game back in the day. It was a pleasure to watch some teams when 40+ wins was a regular occurence. Florida isn't really a basketball state, so struggling in that area isn't really too surprising. With football, there is some stiff competition for recruits. Why we can't field a good baseball team over the last three coaches, in this state is a huge mystery. Maybe Cardieri never really lost it. Maybe external factors beyond the coaches' control are to blame.

The new coach is a hit with the kids, if we don't win 40 ill be surprised.
