That would have been a question better asked of whoever you were talking to, wouldn't it? Were there any incentives for putting down the deposit now?

The pitch was to reserve your seat for the new year and get to choose your new set locations first, but im not one of the large donors.  I make small donations  ie.. Lunch money for the week type donations. So my seats would not be between the 30's anyway.  Im also trying to resale this to the Mrs. as why buy now before we even know the new price structure. With the closing of the upper bowl will there be a ticket that will even fit in our budget anymore?

Are you in the upper bowl now?

Yes - that would be good to know.  I would imagine if they are thinking about closing the upper bowl they have to worry how many people they will lose (not want to pay more to move down to the other levels).  I would think they would want to reach out them first, try to at least give them first choice at any open seats to entice them to pay the difference.  That would be a tough sell after the last few seasons.

I'm all for closing the upper bowl until we consistently sell out the lower bowl.  I hope this does come to fruition.

A tough sell indeed. Just figured out that, if I'm reading the map up there correctly, the two UB sections were at $83/ticket so you're talking about almost a $100 jump per to move to lower bowl, unless you got the family 4 pack ... based on the 2014 prices.

Bullnupe,

The benefit of putting down a seat deposit is that you will have the opportunity to select your seats before they become available to the public. We have traditionally had the deposits available before pricing is finalized.

I hope my sales guy doesn't call me anytime soon. Give me a few months to at least forget about another bad season, give me a signed recruiting class to look forward to, something...

But if he already has season tickets, he shouldn't have to do this, correct? Season ticket holders' seats aren't made available to the public until the renewal deadline has passed, I thought ...

Triple B,

Yes, that is correct. We will be contacting renewing season ticket account members once the new pricing structure is finalized. Those who place the seat deposits will be contacted after that.

Im sure that is the case  last year I bought mine with a friend who had 4 the year before instead of renewing mine 2 from the previous year.  So the call today was basically asking me to renew mine again and become a season ticket holder again.
