I loved seeing him on SportsCenter. RIP Stu, it truly was a pleasure and you will definitely be missed.

Will never forget when he was one of the guest speakers for the USF lecture series around 1999 or 2000 when I was a student. He told us to keep pursuing our dreams whatever it might be. He gave us his life story of how he made it to ESPN. He had stories about his anchor days from small town small market new stations. His time when he was an anchor in the central Florida area. He told us there was a lot of sacrafice in his pursuit as he knew he was not big enough to become a pro football player after his vision problems. He even finally broke down at the end and gave the USF students a Boo Yaa after they were begging him to do it. You can tell that he didnt want to but he did it for our group. God bless him and his family.
