Can't really share pay site information guys  :stirpot: None of it is concrete *definitely* happening, but you guys know Newberg has been on top of most of the coaching search.

It looks like Kinnan would get an off the field job, if any. Nothing on the field with calling plays. So there's that.  That's the speculation, however.

Sre you referring to this:

He will either be the Bulls offensive coordinator or offensive specialist, with authority to call plays.

If Kinnan comes on as a "specialist" USF head coach Willie Taggart would declare himself offensive coordinator.

I'm guessing that's why Breedwell was comfortable posting that piece of information. It's been speculated by many. There's other info that Breedwell was referring to with his initial comment.

The second article from Bradenton makes a good read. If this guy is as offensive minded as he is written to be, then maybe the CWT hire of him is a good thing. Honestly, I think he will be the coach behind CWT. Kind of reminds me of The Pittsburgh Steeler DC. Everyone wants to pick his mind when it comes to defense. Yes I know there is a difference between high school and pro however in this case this may be what USF has needed and a blessing in disguise. It certainly puts to rest all the arguing as to whether we are doing or not doing the spread. We are doing the spread. People can't seem to get that through their heads. Edited by nobullaboutit

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
