Where does USF go for radio now?

Update from Joey on twitter is that they are still contracted to run USF stuff on that station so the radio show tonight will be on if anyone listens.  So we will be sandwiched in for now it seems on whatever the new channel will be broadcasting.  Strange.

Not really. The buccaneers and rays have a similar setup with their radio stations.

Not really. The buccaneers and rays have a similar setup with their radio stations.

 

 

True, but in the sense that those stations they are on are all owned by Clear Channel and so it is all one umbrella as far as promotions.  CBS at one time owned 98.7 but it was traded to some tiny broadcasting group recently that has no mothership sports talk channel on AM or FM in the area where they have to branch out to support all of their event broadcasting rights like WDAE.  We would be a university whose sports randomly interrupt rock music or rap or whatever the channel moves to unless they go to an all national sports talk channel or something.  That's what makes it a bit strange to me at least.
