SMU getting pulverized by UCF.

Please people. White is a semicompetent QB and he drove for two TDs in 10 minutes with SMU playing the pass the entire way. If taggart gets a clue and starts him we'll be fine. 

 

What is bizarre is that SMU looks hapless this week. Our team does not get a single break.

 

SMU on the road against UCF. UCF knows how to win. SMU at home last week on home coming. USF does not know how to win. That is all I can conclude.

UCf has a terrible offense. #116 in total offense. the only difference is they have a very good defense #2 total defense that gave up 37 points to UConn.

I didn't make that claim. The difference between UCF and Alabama is around 24 points. The difference between UCF and us is around 16 points. If anything that supports your claim.

The UConn game is why we feel there is a chance to beat UCF, but in reality UCF significantly outgained UConn in that game but threw 4 interceptions. The transitive property doesn't really apply to our game. It was awful conditions on the road with temperature in the 40s and downpours. ECU faced similar conditions and lost to Temple. We went on the road and nearly laid an egg against the worst FBS team since the turn of the century. On a neutral field UCF beats UConn 95% of the time. If we can step it up on defense and force some turnovers we will have a chance much like last year. UCF is prone to turn it over and offensively has some deficiencies like us. Their offense is only marginally better than us, but their defense is significantly better and ranked #4 in FBS. I am not expecting more than 14-17 points offensively.
