And Mike, that is definitely not the USF band

While the colors are similar, the design is notably different:

 - The gold trim is very different

 - The USF uniform does not have writings on the top of the sleeve (as shown on the picture)

 - There would be a (very noticeably) large USF logo on the top of the left breast pocket area.

USF does have shakos and has worn them. But far less common due to heat... and now lack of a performance audience

I believe they wore them for ECU and Houston. They should always wear them. The baseball caps look ridiculous.
