Taggart has lost this team

They quit competing today. Houston wanted it more and made thier breaks.

Holy sports cliché batman.
Not a cliche. They quit.

Houston played harder pure and simple.

Quit, want, heart, breaks, lost the team.

I'd just say that they're nor very good. QB can't throw, line can't block, receivers can't catch and defense can't tackle.

You're projecting the lack of talent on this team on to the coach. That said, he's the one making 6 figures and needs to be accountable.

You forgot one option on your voting list:

[edit] - hey, I get the frustration, I'm there too, but you don't build a new culture in just a season or two. I'm willing to give it a more time, but it would be great if he showed more adjustments to the level of talent.

If he's lost the team, which I believe he has, then he needs to go.

If they were still competing hard for him but where just out manned then give him more time, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

For those who voted yes, who would you hire?

I honestly don't follow other programs enough to know who to replace him with, but hopefully Harlan knows. All I know is cwt brand of ball is insanely boring. We need an uptempo coach who can use Florida takent appropriately. The power o will never work here

See, that's the problem. It's easy to drop the "fire him" card, but getting someone else to come in and fix the problem and expect to be able to pay them what we can pay them is lunacy.

Unless you go winless every coach deserves 3 years.

Any warm body could do better.

I just don't know if the risk of rolling the dice on a new guy is greater than the risk of seeing if these good recruiting classes start to pan out next year.

Alas, reason prevails. Only took 27 posts. Bravo sir.
