That we would be 2-2 in conference play with losses to the preseason favorites and wins over the bottom feeders, would your panties still be riding up?

It's not the record.  It's how they've played and to know that if we didn't shoot ourselves in the foot so often we could have one or even two more conference wins and/or one or two more out of conference wins.

Our offense only improving from 124/124 to 114/124 is what bothers me more than anything.

At this rate we will have a mediocre offense in about 4-6 years. I do not approve.

If you are trying to build or rebuild you have to look at more than the record. You need to look for things to build on. Record is part of it, but so is quality of play.

The quality of play with the exception of one half against Tulsa has been poor for the most part. You need to look at the play as an entire team. Not one or two good drives by the offense then say there is improvement. When you are setting negative records on defense that is not an improving team regardless of the record and it should be cause for concern.

AAC is garbage.  Even the good teams are bad.  The bad teams are toxic waste.

Yes. Going into this season I assumed we'd only be favored in 2-3 games at home maybe so this team would have to pull off some upsets to have a good season.

This team ain't upsetting anybody other than season ticket holders this year. We are who they thought we would be. A lousy 3-9 football team that's painful to watch.

SMU will smoke us if we can't even handle the football.

The wins and losses don't bother me as much as they way we've won and lost.  

That's pretty much it. I figured a four win season, but considered losses to be losses.

Inept play - regardless of the reasons why - make it just less palatable.
