Was on suicide watch after 1st half

 I had told all my friends with that we start the road to a bowl this week.

 

Gulp down 27-7 and I was shocked, surprised we came back. I'm not really that shocked though, Tulsa is not that good. I knew as soon as we got our act together we would have a chance but probably not have the fire power to pull it off.

 

Still the rest of the season to judge how the program moves forward, but with Davis back dare I say we have a chance to win them all if our defense can play like that from the start.

To win on the road, a 11 AM kickoff no less, is a great win for any team.  And if it weren't for that awful pick 6 in the 1st quarter it would have been a 2 touchdown win!  We showed heart to come back and win and i think that is the most important thing we saw today... the team didn't give up when their backs were against the wall!

Defense showed up in 2nd half, especially in the 4th quarter.  Tulsa only had 3 points in the 2nd half.  Defense did their part to keep the game within reach and the offense finally learned how to play in the 2nd half.  Must have been a helluva halftime speech by Coach T.
