Hope he finds the success SJ Green has, who's been on several CFL All Star teams. He's had 3 back to back 1000+ yard seasons and over 5000 receiving yards since being in the CFL. If anyone asks this question, don't be a **** about it. Just ask why did you decide to leave school a year early for the pros? My guess would be that he was advised that even a good year (by USF receiving standards) wouldn't do anything to improve his stock, so he figured why not get busy making money.

Dopey question even for CFL. Trip, the Renegades were shut down in '06 and the franchise put up for sale. They were bought and reinstated around 2008, and play their first season as the RedBlacks this year. Rough Riders were done before 2000. [edit] - actually looked @ Wiki to get the years right. Since before 2000??? ..... I obviously need to brush up on my CFL.

He might have improved his draft position but his training while with the browns was far superior than he got at USF. He didn't stick. staying one more year at USF would not have changed that. Only a moron would not understand that if you improve your draft status and are drafted higher teams usually hold on to you a little longer and give you time to adjust to the NFL. Happens all the time, that a more talented player that would have made the end of a roster is let go because they don't want to give up on the potential of a higher draft pick. With that line of thinking everyone that has a chance to make it should come out early, and not improve their game and their draft rankings at the College level.
