Late in the game v NC State, I saw Kendall Sawyer and Tajee Fullwood enter late in the game.  Was surprised to see how THICK Fullwood looked.  Seems reports on hard work in the gym were accurate.  Also saw Sawyer almost body slam at WR.  Both played very aggressively, albeit in garbage time.

Looks like Taggart is burning redshirts faster than Cleveland burned LeBron jerseys after he fled for Miami.

So, who steps up & becomes a contributor/difference maker?

Flowers?  Bad INTs, but ran for 32 yards.  Could be he gets more reps this week & plays more (just PLEASE, not right after White throws a bomb TD!).

Mack is looking to breakout again, to prove WCU wasn't a fluke.  Can we block for him?  D Johnson has been quiet, but could emerge.

Abraham and Nichols have seen some time in the secondary, and I expect that to increase.

3 of the most high profile recruits haven't seen the field (as far as I saw):  Vincent Jackson, Tyre McCants and Jimmy Bayes.  Are they ready?  Does Taggart pull their RS's?

If we're going to be successful, I expect some youth to explode (would help if our O-line would block & our QB would complete > 50 % of his passes.

So...any guesses on the next freshman to break out & make a big, positive impact?

Devin Abraham was an INT machine in HS and continued his ways in practice. I look for him to have a breakout game tonight with pass deflections and INTs.

Let's hope our Maryland defense shows up tonight. Please leave the NCST defense behind.

Flowers and Mack should be running the option

Not unless our O-line can push someone downfield.  Mack doesn't need much of a hole, but we're given him little daylight lately.

Read that UConn's front 7 is made up of 4 & 5 year players.  Might be tough sledding if we can't threaten with the pass.

Want to see hundreds of yards on the ground and multiple turnovers.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
