I suspect that his pretty severe injury caused some of the bigger schools that were interested to not apply the late pressure they otherwise would have - they don't really need to roll the dice.  We do, and this kid could end up being a steal if he stays healthy.

Looks like Marlon may have suffered a season ending knee injury this past week. Hopefully it won't require surgery.

any update on the injury? This guy could be an early impact player, so it'd be nice if he sticks & is healthy.

Last I heard, they shut him down for the season as more of a precautionary approach. I will see one of his coaches today and get an update.

Partial ACL tear and was having problems with it before. He went ahead and had surgery but should be ready to go soon. I'm sure USF will red shirt him his 1st year to make sure he is 100%. His coaches say the kid has a ton of heart, which is something we need on this team.
