When was the visit scheduled before he made those comments?  He could have decided not to go.....

That's my fear...he was unapologetic about giving $$ to players.  That said, I think it's silly that no one can give players $$, if not affiliated with the teams.  But I suppose its a slippery slope.  Canes pooped on him, so maybe he's looking to channel kids to the "good guys" now.
