Right, we already did that. We could do it again, but what I'm saying is that there's only so much you can do with a university fight song. The genre just isn't really versatile. The lyrics are one way to see that.

For the record, I agree with you; I just think it applies to all college/university fight songs. That's part if their charm. Learn the words and the melody and sing along...it will grow on you! Pavlovian...after a USF score!!!

Agree. Learn the words and the melody. People actually singing the fight song and alma mater would be a good start for tradition

I think simpler or catchy lyrics make fans want to learn the song. To tell the truth, I only really know Notre Dame and Georgia Tech's fight songs because they are melodic and fun.

I'd like a USF song with a matador type feel to it, just my opinion.
