Absolutely. Though, the main point of the article is that the Big12 is not expanding. Their per school revenue was more than the SEC last year. I didn't read the article, and it's not surprising their per school revenue is higher, there are what, 4 less teams than in the SEC? If that's the case though, only way expansion will ever happen is if the other P5 conferences force them to, and I don't think that's too far out of the realm of possibility. Only difference between that and what we have now is there would be no AAC, right? Other than UCF, everyone else would have been still in C-USA. Or am I missing something?
