Bottom one is Skippy's team?

Perhaps you missed the point of this thread.

"those that berate others or disrespectfully insult or demean our players, coaches and admins or OTHER BULLS FANS."

Let's give it a rest already.

ex-coaches are still fair game though, right?

Judges?

Something as harmless or intended for humorous purposes as that Skippy comment isn't an issue.

Can we also dispense with preferential, needless editing and movement of posts? It really disrupts the flow of information and is clearly sometimes intended to have a chilling effect on the author. I am more than open to abiding by Board requests(i.e. Brad's request for less profanity recently) but when some moderator excises a post or changes a title because they don't like a source is more than a bit ridiculous. Who determines what sources are credible?  We even have gotten to the point of relabeling a CBS Sports post as a "rumour". How is the editor here more qualified to judge that content than THAT source.

I have always been a staunch advocate of things USF, to the point of being accused of wearing Green and Gold goggles. I'll admit my bias, but I will defend that POV until breath no longer exits me. I remain optimistic about our future. I think we have made some recent bold moves and I await the feast of plenty to come.

I have only one mantra. You mess with my Bulls, YOU GET THE HORNS!!!!!!!

Mods should not be determining appropriate titles.  I think that has been in reaction to other members.  We're all old enough to know what is what.  Ideally, there would be no moderation at all.  My request for less profanity has never wavered, I'm just not always around to catch it.

I think what he's referring to is that when someone merged one of his redundant threads about Stricklnad into the assistant coach thread, they altered the title (since been changed back), adding something about including RS rumors and for the record, it wasn't me.

I think I edited the title to Vega's post since Bullwinkle's duplicate information was already posted there.  Bottom line is that is a way overblown example and we just need to enjoy the board and the sense of community it should bring.

I started the thread because there wasn't one for Rod Strickland. After CBS confirmed that he was on staff, I felt safe doing so. Never thought of looking for redundant posts in the multitude of Orlando threads. Since we had always formed separate threads for AC's coming on board, I thought the thread was more than appropriate.  Trip bombed in to say that we shouldn't be forming threads anymore until we had "official Releases" If that's the criteria these threads are going to read like a history book. Needless to say, this is part of Trips constant editing of virtually anything i write. I even tried to add the thread back as other media sources reported it. It was deleted each time. I am coming up on 10k posts and I couldn't even fathom a guess as to what is the proper way to post on TBP right now. I feel sorry for those who are just coming on board it must be awfully confusing.

Ok, Bullwinkle, I'm going to have to ask you to simply give it a rest.  I see now, after exploring the Prospects board, you and Trip are going at it there too.

There is no requirement that an official release be made before something can be posted.  I have asked all moderators to move on.  I have also asked for less moderation and less editing (if that is happening).  I need all members to move on and instead of embracing an injustice, perceived or otherwise, embrace this community of Bulls fans.

Thanks for your contributions to the board.

Wooly, I was going through an old hard drive...I can recap much of the 15 years with visuals, some of which you are a part of.  :)
