I would be looking forward to playing otherwise. My visits to Tampa will be few, if ever, with the way things are progressing since getting married. Cold weather road games will be the norm - except when USF is in Texas playing - I'll find a way to make those games. I definitely miss Tampa and the atmosphere surrounding football games. The Sheriff and married in the same sentence still sounds odd. to you and Mrs. Even odder is that he found a woman that would actually put up with him! Ya done well, Terry! Here's another one in yer guys's honor.

Oh well. She is smart and athletic. She went to West Point and started at first base in softball all four years while she was there. She also had a full ride to Cornell for hockey. I'm hoping with a some good fortune, I'll have a little superstar that will bring a Heisman Trophy to USF. She thinks any children should go to a military academy (that's where I'll be concentrating my focus - reversing that thought process). It's been quite some time since an academy grad won a Heisman Trophy (1963 - Roger Staubach). I'd rather keep that streak alive.

TAMPA, MARCH 27, 2014 – USF football fans, especially those that have been following since the program’s start, are in for a treat during halftime of Saturday’s spring game at Corbett Stadium. I'm not really sure what more you needed to tell you when the event was.

Saturday could be March 29, or April 5, 12, 19, and 26. It makes sense to give the time and date of an upcoming event when the event is the main topic of the entire article. That makes two full articles that don't give the date.
