No combine invite for DeDe

College and pros are two very different things. The same reason a high school quarterback can be one of the best in the state, but sign an LOI with a DII school. The same reason that Tebow can win the Heisman and be a below average NFL QB.

DeDe might make it, but he doesn't have the measurables. Mims and Lynch do. So DeDe will have to take immediate advantage of every opportunity he gets while Mims and Lynch will get a much longer leash.

To me he's similar to Barrington but more productive. Smaller and not clear where they will fit at LB at the next level. But Sam got a combine invite.

DeDe will get a shot somewhere at least. He may finally be the LB that Leavitt scoops up for SF late or as a free agent.

He plays bigger than his size. He should at least get on a practice squad with his instincts, skill set, high motor, etc..

My guess is that he runs a 4.7
