How would you grade our recruiting so far?

A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++.

6 wins in the last 33 games, 2-10 last year and this guy has a top 50 class coming here and the #1 class in our conference? In all reality, given the state of our program we shouldn't have a recruiting class above 75! Huge respect for what they're doing on the recruiting. Like some have said it's not over yet and decommitments can happen, but as long as half of the class doesn't jump ship last minute what Taggart and co. has done recruiting wise is nothing short of fantastic.

Can't wait to see if we can actually put together some winning seasons with Taggart to see what he can really do with recruiting although we have a cap on that potential due to the conference we now play in... :bang:

I was actually Chase Litton's music teacher in elementary school

Kid was like 5'8 in 5th grade... and a bowl cut in 4th grade.

Why does the DVD cover of Dumb & Dumber come to mind?

Pretty good so far, but will wait to see how it translates on the field.  The youngsters from last year's group wasn't too bad though.

love it. bring em in.

like others have said, given where we were last year, its incredible.

then again, I expect a recruiting class at least this good year in and year out, and expect to be #1 in the conference, so I'm not surprised.

He's got a 39th ranked class based on 247sports, too.

He could very well have a class in the mid-30's with a couple more commitments (i.e D'Earnest Johnson, Marlon Mack, Denzel Ward, Vincent Jackson).

    "He is a young and extremely gifted offensive mind, a developer of high-level talent and an elite national recruiter who brings the experience of having played an integral role from the beginning in helping to build one of the most successful programs in college football."

    "There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
