Honest questions as I do not know the answer; how good is he?

 

Remember he was not a scholarship quarterback at Bama, he walked on to the program and paid his own way.  He did have some offers but I do not think he was "highly recruited".

He was good enough to get an offer from an offensive powerhouse like Oklahoma State. I think the talent is there.

Doesn't the kid live in Colorado? He has no connection what-so-ever with Florida.

 

Although I suppose neither did Bench and he's here now.

He had schollie ops out west.  Can't imagine him as a target here, but who knows?  Suppose it's worth a quick thread.

Since he has no ties to Tampa or Florida (except maybe a few years in Jacksonville - didn't his dad coach there for several years?), he's more likely to find a P5 school out west than go to an AAC school in Florida.  That said, I'd welcome him if he showed interest.

Yeah that's a head-scratcher. It says because he took a redshirt this past season, he's immediately eligible. The only thing I can think of, and I've never heard this before if it's true, is that taking a redshirt in 2013 can count as the season he has to sit out? That or the article is just misinformed.
