It's certainly much better than most would have expected, given the level of coaching he had while at USF. He's a good, hard-working player and is a great guy to call a Bull. I doubt he's NFL starter material, but I wouldn't be shocked if he worked his way up to being a backup, and then, if he gets a chance to play, who knows? Not sure if directed at me. The usual suspects with the "he's not an nfl quarterback posts". I agree, he's probably not nfl starter material but the McGowan brothers have made some nice coin riding the pine for years.

I usually watch for him when I see 49ers games, but I've never seen him on the sideline, which leads me to believe he is usually up in the booth instead of on the field. But after Willis made that pick a few minutes ago, I saw Leavitt in his face on the sideline talking to him about something in typical intense Leavitt fashion. Very proud he's a Bull...just a great kid.

No way to know that. But I really meant through the season...should have put that in past tense.

There's no way to know, of course, but that seems way more likely to me.

Or just in street clothes? Street clothes behind Carroll.

I see him more than anyone besides Harbaugh.
