I have gotta say that the most disappointing unit of this years football team has been the much hyped D-line. The Bulls are tied for 8th/9th in sacks in AAC. And the Bulls sacks leaders Giddens, sager, and possibly Lynch will be gone after this season. I am wondering if cwt made the right choice for D-line coach. We all knew that this team was weak at O-line, Qb, and Wr's but the D-line was considered to be the best unit.

George Selvie always credited former Bucs Defensive end/ former usf D-line coach Steve White for his development. I believe he is still available and I hope cwt will hire a better coach during the off season.

Hard to disagree with this.

Secondary has improved since freshman players started to play more. But their not getting any support from the D-line. I think its coaching that is holding the D-line back.

D line has been disappointing since JPP & Selvie left. No one to fill those shoes yet. Lynch would not be doing himself any favors if he leaves after this year. He needs another year at the college level.

Gotta agree with the DL on this one. The guys lined up right behind (DeDe and Co.) them seem like the best of the year though.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”
