  1. I haven't really done too much posting, but I had to write something to remember Charlie. For the couple of years he called Virginia home he was the mascot for the USF alumni association in the area bringing excitement, cheer, laughter, and fun hats. I had the pleasure of watching many many football games with him and had the opportunity to form a true friendship with him. In getting to know Charlie, he was a man of simple pleasures and adventure. Although he was not one to stay in one place for any length of time, I still remember the day he told me he purchased his dream home in Arlington not too far from my apartment at the time. He had been eyeing it for quite a while just hoping it would become available for him to snatch up. I'm happy that our friendly nomad was able to make Virginia his home for the few years he was here, and honored to have met someone who I believe has inspired or at least provided a brief respite from the difficulties of life to anyone he has been in the same room as Charlie. Liz and I will be forever grateful to our friendship and memories. Rest in piece my friend.
  2. The official watch party location through the Alumni Association is Buffalo Wild Wings - SeaWorld 10761 International Drive Orlando, FL 32821 from what I can tell on the Chapter website (www.usfalumni.org/orlando). I thought the old DC Chapter president was running the show (Kathy Dorf) but it looks like Katie Giglio has taken over. Maybe you can work something out with Katie to make your location an official watch party location for the Alumni in the area.
  3. Every time this game comes up in conversation it seems I am the only person who remembers Louisville trampling their mascot on the way out to the field right before kickoff...
  4. I'm already a part of the NFL.com league, but I would like to join this one as well if there's room!
  5. I have a feeling Josh may be a better distributor than AC by the time his USF career is over. He looked great last night.
  6. Yesterday I got one that wouldn't even let me click past it until I waited 30 seconds. I ended up closing the tab and reopening what I wanted to read rather than wait. Today every page has had a video on the bottom left corner that I can click out of.
  7. Gotta agree with the DL on this one. The guys lined up right behind (DeDe and Co.) them seem like the best of the year though.
  8. USF 34-31 Shaw Davis 335 A surprising shootout with USF coming out on top. Huge game from Davis to make it happen.
  9. USF 20-17 Shaw Davis 295 White comes back to earth with a good but not great game. Win on a last second 47 yard Kloss field goal.

  11. For those who missed it, former Bull Solomon Jones made the opening day roster for the Orlando Magic. Congrats Mr. Jones! http://www.orlandopinstripedpost.com/2013/10/25/5030198/orlando-magic-roster-2013-solomon-jones-waive-romero-osby
  12. Gonna stick with who I've seen: 1) PG Collins, SG DoJo, SF Mattis, PF Rudd, C SoJo 2) DoJo 3) Chris Capko. Not because he was expected to be good, but because I was always shaking my head when he was in the game. 4) Our first conference win in the Big East vs Georgetown
  13. 1. USF 2. Shaw 3. Davis 4. 38-14 5. 515 Shaw breaks off two long runs early leading to all of the starters resting in the second half.
