Academically, Syracuse and USF aren't leaps and bounds apart. If he had chosen Vandy and said that then i'd agree.

Syracuse has a higher acceptance rate and identical SAT scores so I would have to agree.

Syracuse is AAU

You're right...I should have said they were for 45 years, and didn't want to meet the revised membership rules so withdrew. I still stand by that they are more well regarded than we are overall. Not that we suck by any means.

I'll just say this. For a 3-star recruit he sure got a lot out of his signing. And he got our USF brand on a broadcast, so that was good.

 

Good luck to him in Syracuse.
