I haven't seen any mention of it in a while, but I know there's a faction on this board of people who want to see emotion and fire come out of the head coach during games.  I think this faction has gone underground due to the poor overall performance of the team, namely the offense, of late.  Personally I could care less about the game day face of the head coach, but there are those that do.

With fire and passion, we had too much of it with Leavitt.

We had none of it with Holtz - just giggles and grins.

Tonight I saw a coach that was fired up, but not "embarrassingly" so.  He wants to win and we took a big step in that direction today.  We found a little bit of who we are.  Once we saw some offensive success, I saw a little swagger tonight.

Let's hope it can continue.  It was actually a bit fun to watch and see confidence in the team.

He had every right to be fired up.

I would have gotten ejected after that BS OPI call on Davis. You would have had to escort me out.

As a head coach if you're not passionate then why would your team be? I think it's great that he is passionate and shows it. It will start with him, the players will be passionate, and then it leads to the fans.

Watching Skip Holtz on the sideline or in post game interviews it seemed like he could care less. He seemed content with a loss as long as he thinks his players "tried".

Some things to be hopeful about after last night that's for sure.

Yeah, but I think that emotion rubbed off on the players and resulted in some of the penalties late in the game for unsportsmanlike conduct. Record number of penalties for the season.

I like emotion and fire. There's a way to do it without losing control.

Admittedly I was never embarrassed by Leavitt, but i have a lot of crazy uncles so I may not be the best reference on that.
