The GOOD - Defense played hard the entire game and didn't show signs of wilting as the game went on. Good when you consider that Louisville held the ball 3x more then we did.

The BAD - Defense couldn't stop the 3rd and shorts contributing to the long time that Louisville held the ball.

The UGLY - Offense. A recurring theme. This is the first game I can recall where we didn't get enough yards to get the Free Pizza for ticket holders. We are also now 12 quarters without an offensive touchdown. Enough said about this continuing disaster.

This team could be decent (not great) if it had any offense at all.

With just an average offense that game was winnable

Special teams, again, did a great job today. Offense is definitely the weak link.

I think that's been the story halfway through the season, and I wouldn't hold out hope for much to change over the remainder of the season.

We have no offense. None. Zero, zip, zilch.

Our defense played its heart out today and although the final score was 34 to 3, that defense kept it from being much much worse.

There's another thread complaining about student attendance. I'm not too sure I can fault them. I go to these games because I bought

season tickets and can't muster the courage to just blow off attending because of disappointment. But I will say, in all honesty, that today

was a difficult game to watch - and sit through to the bitter end. I've seen progress on the defensive side of the game, but I'm just not sure

anything, coaching or bayou voodoo, can be done to improve the offense at this point in time. Maybe we just tough it out, accept the fact

we're due for more defeats, and just ride the season out.

Good: Lattimore, D-line for much of the game, punting & kicking. Grothe getting engaged (keeding!, but cool).

Bad: QB situation, O-line (mostly), secondary.

Ugly: WR drops, poor tackling in too many clutch situations to give up first downs, QB play and key recruits watching (unless they can see this as a chance to play early).

Good- If I was a recruit who wanted to make a difference and start right away, I'd go to USF.

Bad- secondary especially Salinas number 31, he can't cover anyone

Ugly- 39 plays on offense and less than 150 total yards

Not going to start a new thread but the ugly is averaging 14.3 ppg. Uglier when backing out the defensive and special teams points - 10.3ppg.
