Why didn't bench start?

Offense looked a lot better with him in there ... and yes I realize that wouldn't take much ... but I actually felt like we had a chance to score a TD with him in there. Assume he wasn't 100% was the reason he didn't start ....

I wouldn't go as far as saying I felt like we could score a TD with him in there, but it certainly appeared that we could move the ball with him in there.  Realistically, we lost this game because Eveld couldn't lead the team to a first down.

I have unrealistically high hopes for White, but the only thing he could do worse would be to turn the ball over consistently.

12 quarters without an offensive td. Eveld and Floyd should be benched for the rest of their careers.  Bench is close to being on that list too.

+1

I also think Eveld and Floyd are done barring injuries to Bench and White

This is my feeling as well... He can actually complete a pass.

He seems to read the field much better than Eveld, which results in getting the ball away more quickly.

Eveld made sense as starter today. It looked like he was paralyzed by trying to keep to the directive of "whatever you do, don't give up the ball." When he had to move, he resembled an iceberg - no speed and a big target. Paralysis by analysis.

Bench didn't drop passes. Bench didn't play for a weak o line
