And this is why:

http://espn.go.com/ncf/qbr/_/page/3

Eveld and Floyd rank #136 and #138 respectively out of 138.

Bortles at UCF is #12, so we have that to look forward to.

What does that say about Bench and White?

There has to be some USF student who can walk on and take the job in a week. Taggart should hold a walk on tryout session for the job. The offense can't be THAT complicated to turn our QBs into the worst in Div 1. Our QBs are just that bad.

We won't out score UCF unless we recover like 5 turnovers on their 5.

Because a walk on is going to play better than those on roster already? :roflmao:  IN less than a half, Eveld rose to the top 1/3 of QBs week 1. Last game against a blitz by A TOP 10 DEFENSE, the O line gave him ZERO time to throw. Did you watch RGIII struggle last night under the same conditions? Use your head, its not one thing, its MANY factors that go into this and they won't be the same every week.

I still think Bench will be the starter by conference play

Last year - last in interceptions

This year - last in QB performance

Only going into week 3 ... I have faith things will get better at some point.

Only 1 of the three QBs has so far proved he can throw a TD pass in a game.

I think bench will secure the job by the end of the season.

It's anybody's guess at this point, so you're safe. There is almost no supporting evidence yet though.

I base that off of Taggart's comments in the radio show that Floyd and Eveld both still have a better grasp of the offense from the spring and that he said he is going to work Bench in more and more. Assuming bench eventually learns as much as Eveld and Floyd, I think he will take it. Taggart is playing Bench with incomplete knowledge of the offense (it appears), I think he will start once he has complete knowledge. But ya, maybe he does learn it and still can't run it either but I doubt it. Edited by Gismo

I just don't have a lot of faith in any of them yet, none have earned our full confidence. They'll get better with play familiarity and with improved ability to read & react to the defenses. Right now they all look like they're heads-down in the playbook and can't get the big picture. I'd like to think that will change.
