This defense will keep us in gained all year. That's assuming that the defense shows up with the same effort and intensity that they did today. Only thing that I'm not encouraged with is the lack of pass rush from the DEs.

Except for Miami no other defense is close to msu so that's a plus

Well, except for that 15 yard punt...

But the defense actually looked reasonably good last week until the wheels fell off in the second half.  Glad to see them be more consistent today.

Taggarts only good move since he set foot on a field was to put Bench in.

mims and forte> lynch and giddens, sorry

I like the kid, but Forte has exactly one tackle on the season.

The QB situation is definitely a concern, but for me it's not as much a concern as our O-line. Granted MiSU is probably about the best we'll face, but McSU also got FAR too much pressure on our QBs too, and both Ds made us hurry out of our comfort zone. Eveld made pretty good decisions when he had a little time, and Bench too did "okay" but not as well--he's still not fully ready.

If our O-line continues to bend like this, we need more quick-crosses and screens in the plan. Shaw can catch & run, and both McFarland & Price can hang with the linebackers when they catch the short pass.

Relieved with Kloss' comeback, and yeah, a little worried about Ciabatti. D looked like they learned from mistakes, think we're going to be alright there.

Overall an acceptable improvement Saturday IMO, we've got some hope Bulls fans!
