Why do we schedule our homecoming games as we do?

We're playing Louisville for homecoming. Why did we not schedule FAU or Uconn? I guess if we win against UL it will be the biggest win, but honestly aren't we growing tired of losing homecoming games yet?

 

When is the last time we won a homecoming game?? 2006?

I've learned to take the season game by game. There's enough complaining about that game already. This is just a realistic observation. I would really like to know when is the last time we won a homecoming game if anyone has that information.

I think 2008 against Syracuse was the last time.  Can't remember.  So many losses.

Remember, the league makes our conference schedule. Then student government combined with the alumni association pick based on the date (like like Mid-October to Early November).

Our homecoming schedule is a joke... it needs to be the first weekend of October and needs to be against a cupcake. Typically we would win that game.

 

I'm personally fed up with USF making Lousivlle a homecoming game. Make FAMU the homecoming game or Stetson... if we practice enough we might be able to beat them.

Maybe we can get Plant or Armwood to come in for our homecoming opponent. Not sure how we would do based on the McNeese game, but I'd think we have at least a 50-50 shot.

The last thing I remember is beating Notre Dame.  Everything after that is a tired blur.
