It's about having a distraction-free environment in which to focus on football and build the team's chemistry. If USF does well, it won't have a ton to do with where they camp; if USF does poorly, it won't be because they went to Vero. It's not a huge factor one way or another. It's like blaming the color of the uniform -- really not a huge factor one way or another. I would think it has an effect on the bottom line financially and would save much needed money to practice on campus. Maybe they should go somewhere less serene. I'm thinking Pahokee, Swamp Central. Spend a day trip at Lion Country Safari where CB's try to cover the Cheetahs and our linemen spend the day trying to move the elephants out of the "nose" tackle position.
