Sidelines have been flat for at least two years. I remember Chattanooga last year the game was close and key players were sitting and looked totally flat looking

I think Willie will eventually turn the attitude of this team around, but it takes time. No way these adjustments happen over night. Football can be as much a mental game as it is physical sometimes. I hope we turn it around at some point and kick some ass!

I agree with you. It's pretty much like I said yesterday, most of us, including me, expected a change in mentality and attitude from the outset of CWT's tenure, but it looks like we have a ways to go.

We WILL get this thing turned around. It's not a question of if, but when. CWT is the right man for the job.

Rally the troops when things are bad. The home crowd needs to help with that, not boo. Of course some on here call that, "coddling'. Ridiculous.

There was no energy at the game. Fans were like church mice. Why is it our fans have no clue how to act at a football game? You get loud on defense, ALWAYS, not just 3rd down. Be silent on offense, and when your team needs to rally, stand up and shout and get behind them! I'm sick and tired of our pathetic crowd just sitting there silent with their hands under their asses. If you aren't going to add anything to the game atmosphere, just stay home, its cheaper.

Yeah, but I see that all the time, not just at USF, sidelines getting quiet when they are in a close game with someone they are supposed to blow out. Its kinda like being shell shocked and I think its because these guys never believe when their coach says a supposed cupcake has a great team and if given the chance are going to beat you big time. They go in thinking how could that be, he must say that before every game, no matter who they are playing and when it happens they are embarrassed and shocked.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
