To add insult to injury, WKU  beat an SEC school last night . The same WKU that is starting with a new head coach since  we took theirs.     We on the other hand had the worst loss ever by a D1 school to a FCS in the entire history since they separated years ago.  Be Proud Bulls Fans, It can only get better, right?  Has to, we cant get any worse.

The same WKU team that was built by our current head coach mind you...Which beat a UK team that also had a new head coach

Gotten the Holtz out of this team? Three years of Holtz teams competed to the final whistle against far better teams than McNeese St. There was the Pitt game last year, but that was the last game of the season with a third string QB and a 3-8 record. Holtz teams lost because of poor Xs and Os, not because of lack of effort.

Not often a team quits on a game the first week of the season.

I'd say Taggart got too much of the Holtz out.

You do realize that 3rd string QB started for us last night, right?

And there were 3 other options the head coach didn't choose. 2 of them we can guess about, but 1 of them was clearly a better option.

Good to see you have 20/20 vision looking backwards just like everyone else.

Then this works both ways. You're no longer allowed to criticize Holtz for his decisions. Hindsight and all.

Try and keep up. This isn't about the decisions Holtz made.

Every post you've made since last night was about the decisions Holtz made. This entire thread is based on the idea that a series of bad decisions (in hindsight) added up to CWT not being able to beat a 1-AA team.

The decisions Holtz made? All I've talked about is the Holtz mentality. I haven't talked about his poor clock management, his lack of killer instinct, etc. even once. If it helps you feel better to believe otherwise, I'm happy I'm able to help you cope.

This is what people seem to be forgetting... Taggart REBUILT that team.. And Taggart beat UK with mostly the same team that Petrino did as well yesterday.. Jesus... Give the man time to do the same here at USF.

Out Played, out coached, out hustled, NO heart, NO balls to stand up to McNeese.

We still have a team of quitters that don't have the balls to compete.

Total f'ing disgusting.

If some were there for the "stampede parade" Both Z-Bull & I noticed there was no team enthusiasm & when they came out of the tunnel the team was flat like just going through the motion. Mcneese was totally different they had a fire in their belly & a hunger to win. You could see it doing warm-ups and comparing the two teams how they acted in warm-ups during the drills. So attitude and mental toughness does play a part. The whole thing was a combination. Not one specific thing. So pick your priorities and start from there. Priority being defensive line secondary and settle the quarterback situation. I think that is rather obvious regarding the quarterback. However we still did not get to see any of Bench last night. That question still remains. We will definitely be there on Monday night to get some questions answered from Willy T At Beef O Bradys for his show.

Taggart owns that loss. If the players aren't up to the task then he better get new ones. There was a lack of fire and energy from the get go.

The only thing I will point out about skip is that BJ Daniels covered up a lot of awfulness the last couple seasons. Skip was 0-5 without BJ starting and 1-1 where BJ started but did not finish. This offense does not have the backs or quarterback to make it work.
