Already a great FAN rivalry there, but time will tell if the football rises to that level--but I like the rivalry. Would love it to keep up the oh-fer record every year...we could give them a gold "zero" after every game. I know, I know, it can't last, but I can dream!

I don't think there's any doubt, they're coming off a really good year, and have some good key players. On paper today, they're probably better. At the end of the season, who knows?

We may not like it but we can't ignore them any longer. Right now the only ticket out of the AAC is the Big12, if this rivalry takes off and shows to carry increased fan following, tv viewership and businesses involvement it would make both schools more attractive for Big12 expansion.

Lets face it neither school carries enough of a bang by itself but package them correctly together and it may be worth it for the Big12
