Brad runs the ads to pay for the costs of running the site. When he first started the site, it was simple hosting and whatnot and a few donations got him going.

 

Now, I think he's on a dedicated server and all of that, so I'm sure the monthly overhead is getting up there.

 

I had the honor of meeting Brad once. He's the nicest Bull you'll ever meet. I can't imagine how much time and resources he's dedicated to this site since day one.

 

Anyway, what do you say to pitching in and helping Brad to keep this site running for all of our enjoyment without putting monetary stress on him?

 

What do you say to Brad putting a donation button at the top of the site and we help to pay for our community costs?

 

(I'm just throwing this out there, Brad. Sorry for chiming in.)

I'm OK with that.  Maybe a premium board might get rid of some unwanted folks.

We've done something similar in the past.  Maybe Brad can share what the expenses are up to currently and how much of that gets offset by any of the ad revenue or click compensatio n.

Thanks for offering. Beta4East1989's comments are his and based on his astuteness regarding the ad thread on this board. I have said I will comment further, but as of yet have not been able to. It may be more clear now, but there has been a disruption in the site's ability to support itself and support future growth needs. More to come, hopefully good news.

There used to be a button at the top for Game Day Links, IIRC.

 

If we can get that back, it should be easy to add a Donate via PayPal link...
