He's a 2 star on Scout, and doesn't have an impressive offer list.

BUT>>>he's local Defensive Player of the Year, looks to have good size and looks good on film. In Taggart we trust...and clearly a position of need.

Marshall looks better under snow. I drove by that campus in 2012, and it's run down. Huntington, WV should not be on anyone's vacation plan, unless you have family or want to check out Hillbilly Hotdogs (awesome grub).

He's a 2 star on Scout, and doesn't have an impressive offer list.BUT>>>he's local Defensive Player of the Year, looks to have good size and looks good on film. In Taggart we trust...and clearly a position of need.

He's fast and athletic and solidly built. Add in that he's local and for me it's a no brainer.

Why does everyone around here assume that no recruit ever wants to go to a place that ever snows?  I can see lots of Florida recruits wanting to enjoy snow.  After they get there they may decide different, but I don't see why Florida is automatically a hundred times better.

Because all Florida kids go to college in Florida. It's fact. Look it up.

247's composite ranking has him as a mid-3 star (84, 85 ish), plus he's a local kid. We're also not exactly swimming in LB depth. He'd be a good get for us

We've done pretty well at LB recruiting, not sure if there is a spot still.

 

29 offers out, with 3 commits - Holman, Harley, and Brown (sounds like a law firm, LOL)

 

If Josh wants in, I think we make room. Especially if it helps us get Zach.

Josh Black > Vincent Jackson any day of the week. This kid is a stud and would be a huge get for us. I think he is very under recruited.

Jimmy Bayes is also projected as an LB so that would make 4 in the class already with two being inside, two being on the outside... Not sure if we need another LB but if he is a sure fire LB I'd say we make a spot for him yeah?
