I would be THRILLED if we finished fifth in the conference. After last year, that would be a huge improvement.

..Taggart has helped us forget that,

Weeeeellll...maybe not ALL of us.  ;)

Maybe being picked middle of the pack is a good thing. It relieves a lot of undue pressure and, just saying, a .500 year is an improvement. Shoot...5-7 is a step up from last year.

All programs have up and downs. You can be on the top one season and crash the next (Auburn). Its what happens when down that matters most.

Whatever. These polls don't mean shiz anyway. I'm glad we aren't way up there for a change.

We won 1 conference game last year, and lost to temple and ball state. We are in pretty bad shape. Taggart has helped us foget that, but our team could be great or awful. Will the QBs improve or the running game? Maybe we have the best defense in the conference and do well? Maybe we don't have a QB and we do awful.

Don't you know? It was ALL Skip. Talent be damned.

nah

not all his fault

we didnt have a qb that could make plays and the timely throws

and we didnt have the talent to compete in  old  big east

After thinking about what I saw in that USF Pitt game (this years team), in conjunction with our healthy teams embarrassing losses to Ball State and Temple, I think we might be over rated at 5th place in the AAC.

I'm not going to say we wont have a miracle turn around, I'm just not convinced we will yet.  September 7th will prove a lot one way or the other.

I'm amazed with so many Buc/USF  fans ...

I would think being a bottom dweller durring the Culverhouse era would have prepared them for USF the last two years...

After all gettting the first NFL Draft Pick brought eternal optimism...Oh that's right USF can't draft QB"s :wtf:

Really???  Just for kicks, what came in between the Culverhouse era and the last two years of USF??
