Notre Dame was scheduled to visit Arizona State in October 2014. They just cancelled to open at FSU. 

 

If I were Doug, I'd call RIGHT NOW and ask if there's interest in having the Bulls make the trip. 

 

Would be a hell of a trip. Arizona State is a big football school, with some... uh... talent, in a neat city (Phoenix metro area). I think a trip like this would greatly appeal to our fanbase, and from a football perspective, it'll make for a good matchup. 

 

Just a thought.

While I do not wish to be one of the malcontents, the following has to be said:

When contacting the AD, make sure to spell out "Arizona State" so he does not think that "ASU" is Appalachian State. Oy.

You know Mike, you just opened up a subject where in the past I could just accept that as a philosphy aimed at improving USF's stock. USF was in the Big East, part of the BCS, and wanted to act like it. You are not going to be perceived as big time if you act small time playing money games. Well, with the changes that have happened due to ESPN's manipulation of who gets to be big time and who is left out, USF is out. It is time to consider playing road games only.
