Leavitt didn't get fired for roughing up a football player.  The Price incident was repeated abuse and very clear physical assault.  The guy is lucky he hasn't been arrested.  

 

The two cases aren't even remotely similar.

 

And the Rutgers president is a buffoon.  That news conference was embarrassing.

Fortunately, Leavitt didn't try to cover hitting a player in the face with a midnight meeting in a church parking lot (oh wait - that did happen). Help me out here all knowledgeable Leavitt disciples? The one good thing that came from the Rutgers firings is the job opening for the AD position. Will Doug Woolard want to go to the Big Ten?
