Lost 2-6 in Daytona Beach. Fall to 10-11 now.

Just looked it up. Since Prado was hired in 2006, we're 7-7 against Bethune Cookman. Prior to that we were 46-8 all-time against them.

I'm now all the way on board with getting rid of him.

Put a fork in em, the coach has put together a lousy team.

Lelo Prado is a prime example of the "Peter Principle".  He was great as the coach of the University of Tampa and won 2 DII titles with the Spartans.  He was mediocre as the coach of Louisville and had a record of 320-301-1.  So far at USF he has laid a rotten egg.  He may have been a good DII coach, but he cannot hack it at the D1 level.

I know it won't happen (esp with Woolard in place), but I'd love to see Prado canned midseason and make an assistant the interim and just SEE if the team gets ANY better. It's probably not as easy to do in baseball as it is in basketball or football because of how the game is played [individual team sport vs team sport], but it would at least be refreshing.

I hope the team can go .500 this year and have some pride, but at the risk of sounding like a jackass I don't want them to make a huge run and "save" Prado's job. He's doing just enough not to get fired, and his past accolades have not carried any weight for a while now.

Luckily, Woolard now can point to us being a #GroupBschool and having no money to afford changing the coach...

Welcome to the team!

And danm, Prado's buyout is $50k per year left on his contract. Chump change, no matter what conference we are in.

Has more to do with McGillis than Woolard.

Prado needs to go... he is a failure.

But wait, Prado recruits the hell outta Jesuit! We must keep him, so USF can maintain that pipeline. :D I'm sorry, but losing to BCU in baseball is inexcusible. I don't want to hear from the baseball apologists that BCU is actually good in baseball or anything along those lines.
