Aren't they all getting MORE than their previous TV contracts? If so, then they need to take a giant pill of STFU. "We're getting more, but we want even more". They are the ones being greedy!!

This conference has 0% chance of success.

If nobody wants to be there, it's not a conference. . . . It's a jail.

BTW, Arresco has been a disaster. I know his job was tough. But there has been absolutely no value add.

His tv deal was as crappy as marinatto would have achieved. But I think marinatto was better prepared to keep the peace among the member schools.

Aresco's cowboy move regarding Tulane was amateur hour. . . . Far from what a commissioner is supposed to do.

Too bad for the new conference member schools not getting piece of exit dough.  Sounds kinda like when somebody wins the big lottery for tens of millions of dollars and all the neighbors claim they should get some of the money because they live on the same street as the lottery winner.

I thought I read the new members were getting a million each of the exit funds

Don't care at this point, it's our money.

Money is in trust until this gets worked out

You should still care

Giving new members a million is ok, but not a big piece of exit fee pie.

Because they wouldn't keep it if they were in our shoes. Right.

We should hold on to as much as we can. Someone will eventually move out.

Biggest reason is that the 3 remaining were, I assume, making financial decisions years in advance banking on a certain level of revenue. The exit money will give them time to transition to that lower revenue stream ...
