Yeah, it is embarrassing, but easy to see how it happened.

The Big East outsources it web site to a national college merchandise company, and instructs them to only see gear of the member school on the site. So they post their online catalog of gear from the member schools. No one stops to think that the national company is offering ACC logos on Pitt/Cuse/Louisville gear, since that is what those schools fans want to buy.

It will be fixed by 10AM tomorrow, I'm sure.

Wasn't there some debate on the board a month or so ago how the Big East website had outdated information and photographs, and that it should NOT be viewed as reflection of the conference. Isn't the purpose of a website to provide and promote the product that an organization provides?!

How many gaffes and PR issues need to occur for people to realize that it IS a reflection of the conference. By its very nature and purpose it's intended to reflect the conference.

I was pointing out that on the USF page at BE.org, they have pictures of old facilities.

http://www.bigeast.org/AbouttheBIGEAST/MemberSchools/USF.aspx

My point was that if one decent soccer recruit is looking at BE.org and looks at a pic of the "Soccer/Track stadium" and thinks it looks old or why share with track, etc., then he moves on from both USF and the BE.  Other people were saying the BE has bigger fish to fry.  I just felt the member school information should be accurate and updated.
