We USED to all be little Taggarts. Back in 06-09 era. The whole program had a little fire, a little chip on their shoulders.    If Taggart's attitude trickles down, we will be back.

Not to start a huge war, but IMO CWT seems to be the perfect blend of FCJL and FCSH. It seems as though he will put his foot up your ass if needed, but not be extremely demonstrative on the sidelines. Time will tell.

met CWT earlier this month.  he definitely has confidence and some swagger to him.  its nice to see.  

 

but he still knows how to treat people without being an ass.  

 

he is the right hire for us at this point in time.  i think this is a case of how long can we really keep him.  i know most people thought that with Skip but lets be honest....if Skip's last name was Johnson no one would have been that excited.  He was a head coach at UConn and then to ECU and then to USF.  if he was that great with that kind of name he would have made the jump from UConn to somewhere much bigger than ECU.  

 

CWT is only on his 2nd HC job.  I firmly believe in the Harbaugh style of coaching (i am a 49ers fan) and CWT and Jim Harbaugh are two peas in a pod.

So you think that we wouldn't have been excited about a coach that had been an OC for a national championship team, a head coach for several years and had turned around a lousy ECU program if his name wasn't Holtz.  And at the same time you say we should be excited about a guy with much less experience who has only coached in the Sun Belt.
