Niners fan stabbed Falcon fan

Other way 'round. Falcon fan stabbed Niners fan with Niners fan's own knife.

What an idiot. Always hurts worse when you get beat with your own club.

Nope, E.T. apparently had it correct:

The victim, a 35-year-old male, was stabbed after punching a San Francisco 49ers fan, witnesses told Channel 2 Action News. After being punched, the 49ers fan stabbed the Falcons fan in the throat area, according to the report.

Good for Jim.  Glad to see him succeed.   And maybe the Harbaughs can get CWT's recruits some good seats.

I know CJL didn't draft all those LBs but he coached 3 LBs to all pro and the other one could be one (according to Aikmen). I've never heard of a team that had 3 LB make it all pro the same year. That's one helluva job.

And if they win, he can come back to USF and tell the administration..."Kiss the ring, *****." I

I second this

Nowhere near as silly as the conspiracy theorists that said the NFL set up the "Brothers" Super Bowl.  They cite the Nicholas foul as part of the conspiracy.

2003, Nicholas's freshman year. USF, first in the nation with the most penalties. I don't know how anyone could forget all the penalties from back then. Who gets the first huge penalty, a personal foul, for the Falcons? A former Bull. With his college coach sitting on the other sideline. That is all I am saying, silly or not.

The team that led the nation in penalties last season picked up an old habit.

In a 27-6 loss to Southern Miss on Saturday, South Florida committed 13 penalties that cost it 129 yards and hurt its chances for a conference title.

Coach Jim Leavitt called the lack of discipline, which included four personal fouls, "deplorable."

I know coaches get credit for for it but he probably didnt have much to do with them being all pro...but that being said this is where he belongs. He is probably a much better assistant/position coach where he can focus on just one thing rather than the big picture.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”
