Just this past weekend I was at my daughter's basketball game in Portland, Indiana and saw a kid and his father wearing USF sweatshirts.  I talked to the kid for a minute and he said they just moved up there from Tampa on Jan. 1.  He said his sister was a cheerleader there last year but is now in the School of Pharmacy.  I swear I thought I was the only one in Indiana who had heard of the Bulls.

 

This guy's heard of us ....

Let me re-phrase, I thought I was the only person in Indiana, who is not a player or coach, that has heard of the Bulls.  :GoBulls:

 

BTW, was anyone that post on here at the Ball State game last year?

I always wear USF apparel when I go up to Orlando (especially if my girlfriend and I go to a theme park there). We happened to go to a vendor at the Magic Kingdom and the guy running it was a '74 alum. We talked to him for a good 15 minutes or so, was pretty awesome.

Parque Lleras, Medellin, Colombia: chatted with a guy that had seen my USF cap, and it turned out that he had graduated from USF's engineering program.

We were in a gas station in McCaysville, Georgia and got a go Bulls from a man who saw the Iconic U on the back of our Kia Sorrento. 

Got a Go Bulls at Appalachian Ski Mountain after Christmas and at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit

Getting on a ski lift at Big Bear in northern NH and a ski instructor saw my USF ski hat and gave me the horns up. He was a grad from 1975. We talked about the recent loss in the Sun Bowl. Those were the days when we went to bowls...
