Where is Plant located?

Not real familiar with Tampa.

Palma Ceia between Himes and Dale Mabry. A few blocks south of the Publix on Dale Mabry.

Some will say Robert Weiner was a better recruiter at Plant than Skip Holtz was at #USF.

Skip never left Avila

Guys, Skip did A LOT wrong, but he didn't do 1/2 the stuff people say. He lived in South Tampa. He actually bought his house there so his son could go to Plant. (See H.S. recruiting)

Save your bytes. It's falling on deaf eyes. Weiner actually had some pretty high compliments on Skip after he was let go ... and Toby David is a moron who thought the last two years are the reason we've been left out of the conference schedue so far.

Am I the only one that thought at first that the thread title was a joke due to the "phallic" nature of some of the names of the coaches?

Make no mistake about this hire-- Weiner was brought in ONLY for recruiting. the "WR coach" is simply for semantics to get him on staff.

it's a great move for Weiner. the reasons why he probably left for USF:

1. even in this "WR coach" position, he probably makes more money than h.s.

2. he doesn't have to move and uproot his family

3. he makes in-roads for a coaching career in college football

4. he's done everything he can at the h.s. level (4 state titles in 9 years!!)

good for him and good for us!! but honestly, i can see him using usf as a stepping stone for another college coaching job.

OMG, here we go again! I hope he is using us as a stepping stone, that means he wishes to be successful and advance in his career.
