I believe under FL law, you may be prevented from renewing your auto tag because of unpaid parking tickets.

Think of it this way, worst thing that can happen is a ticket. If you don't pay, they hold your transcript and won't let you register for classes. Not much leverage if you're an alumni.

Other than getting a boot on your car at the next game, alumni have nothing to worry about.

I'd say the odds of them running every license plate in the area checking for outstanding $20 tickets is slim. I'm not advocating making a habit of it, I'm talking about doing it if you're only stopping by for a one and done.

I parked at the Alumni building across the street last game and walked to SunDome.

Car was still there after...so i guess...ok?

I always park in the pay-per-space spots next to the business building and walk 5 minutes to the Dome. It's about half the price and I don't have to deal with traffic getting out.

For Tuesday's game, I parked in the same lot, but not in a pay-per-space spot and didn't receive a ticket. I wouldn't risk it when school is in session, but it looks like they don't patrol right now.

I'd recommend you park at ichiban sushi near sweet bay on fowler, get an asahi, eat a spicy tuna hand roll then go to the game.
