Thursday nights, while hexed for our program, allow us the ONLY opportunity for major national eyes in the college football world.

People aren't tuning in to watch USF and Cincinnati duke it out on a Saturday. And while some might say, "I don't care." Selling a recruit that exclusivity on Thursdays is big.

thursdays are o.k. these games kill attendance though. in fact tv is killing attendance for many sports. if they start taking the tv money to play on wednesdays or tuesdays then I'm out. stadium fans seem to be the last thought when it comes to this.

The TV deals are a double edged sword... on one side they bring in money, and on the other the cost programs money by forcing schools to play on week nights.

The BE will not be doing Rutgers and LVille any favors with the schedule, I expect USF to Play Rutgers following Rutgers playing at SDST and USF coming off a BYE week.

Having a national audience is only a plus if we play well and win.

If we stink the joint up like we have, I'd rather play on shortwave radio only

So with the Catholic schools leaving, and all the incoming teams staying put, does this mean that USF needs to fill a bunch of holes next season?

Depends when they leave and whether you are talking basketball or football.

I will be at UH game GUARANTEED! I have several UH friends growing up in suburb outside of Houston. I would like my family and several friends to go, a victory by USF back home would be great especially in the last season at Robertson Stadium. Also plan to have several friends crash at my place and show them great time in H-Town!
